Digital revolution in terrain analysis

  • Time: November 25, 2025 (Tuesday), 11:00 a.m.

  • Format: online

  • Cost: free participation

About the webinar

Join a hands-on event hosted by SkySnap in partnership with WIDMO Spectral Technologies, where we will show how to integrate SGPR precision GPR measurements with drone data (orthophotos, 3D models, point clouds, LiDAR) and how to use such integration for faster, safer and more precise engineering decisions. This event is part of a series of SkySnap webinars focused on how UAV data impacts construction and engineering processes.

For whom?

The webinar is designed for individuals and companies who need complete information about the field – both above and below the surface. In particular, we invite:

  • engineers and designers,
  • specialists in the fields of construction, geotechnics, geology, hydraulic engineering and mining,
  • surveyors, GIS analysts and BIM specialists,
  • Companies implementing infrastructure investments and subsoil risk management services.

SkySnap regularly conducts webinars on the practical use of UAV data in projects – this meeting is another part of that series.

What will you learn? (in brief)

  • How SGPR subsurface GPR imaging works and what possibilities it offers in identifying ground layers, discontinuities and underground hazards.
  • How to combine orthophotos, 3D models and LiDAR with GPR results for a complete terrain analysis.
  • Practical workflow: from drone surveys, to GPR analysis, to integration and visualization in the SkySnap Portal.
  • Concrete examples of applications in construction, hydraulic engineering and mining (including dyke analysis, detection of underground obstacles, hazard assessment).

Agenda

  1. WIDMO Spectral Technologies – SGPR technology, experience and industry application examples
  2. The role of underground and aerial data – the importance of integration in construction, geotechnical and mining industries
  3. Demonstration in SkySnap Portal – floodwall data analysis: integration and visualization
  4. Example workflow – step by step: drone surveys → GPR analysis → integration and reporting
  5. Q&A session – answers to participants’ questions

Free SkySnap webinar - 21.04.2026, at. 11:00. We will show a new inspection module for buildings and automatic data processing functions (3D models, orthophotos). Practical demo and implementation ideas for drone companies, surveyors and photogrammetrists.

  • How are drones changing property condition management? Diagnostics start with the roof.

Managing a modern building is a constant battle against the passage of time and the destructive influence of nature. Whether you're looking after an office building, an industrial hall or a housing development, the greatest dangers lurk where the eye can't see - in the highest parts of the structure and in hard-to-reach places. The roof, gutters, flashings and facade details are the front line in the clash with rain, frost and UV radiation.

  • Webinar: 23.04 Drones in Real Estate: Roof Inspections

The roof is one of the most expensive parts of a building... especially when problems are noticed too late. Leaks, damage or lingering water often remain invisible without an expensive and risky visual inspection.

What if you could check the condition of the roof quickly, accurately, and without climbing high?

During the webinar, we will show how to use roof inspection drones in practice - not just to take pictures, but to create real-world useful documentation that supports renovation decisions and conversations with contractors.
