Advanced technologies for precise data
The task includes taking vertical and oblique aerial photographs in RGB composition, with extremely high terrain resolution – a pixel size of up to 2 cm for orthophotos and up to 1.5 cm for oblique images over an area of almost 2,800 hectares. The data will be used to create an accurate orthophoto and 3D models for detailed analysis of terrain and infrastructure.
“We are happy to participate in the implementation of the CPK project. The project itself is a huge opportunity for the development of Poland and the construction industry. Seeing from the inside the commitment and developed standards of CPK regarding spatial data and BIM, I can say that CPK will affect the quality of documentation and project implementation for the entire construction market.
The use of drones and modern surveying tools at the stage of obtaining the Location Decision by CPK gives the opportunity to obtain accurate and up-to-date data about the investment area. They will support activities related to the next stages of the investment process and planning of subsequent works.”
Says Pawel Wojcik, SkySnap representative.
SkySnap’s key tasks within the project
The scope of the contract includes, among other things:
- Taking high-resolution photogrammetric aerial images,
- Development of a digital orthophoto with a field pixel size ≤ 2 cm,
- Creation of 3D Mesh models for built-up areas,
- Adaptation of realized products to the requirements and guidelines of CPK data exchange
Strategic importance of the project
The data acquired as part of SkySnap’s work will be used not only for accurate mapping of the terrain, but also to support the preparation and planning of field work for the airport section.
SkySnap, as a leader in geo-information and drone technology, emphasizes that the cooperation with CPK is another step in strengthening the company’s position in the market for advanced photogrammetric services.
