Highlights
- The inspection module supports the generation of inspection reports, especially in property maintenance processes.
- Working together in the portal makes it possible to analyze materials after a raid and prepare a report based on the same data.
- The report is available as a PDF, but in parallel it remains “live” in the portal, making it easier to schedule repairs, verify defects and monitor progress.
- With each inspection, a digital twin of the object develops, which becomes the base for further work.
- An integrated data processing service facilitates the processing of raid data into digital twin elements, including 3D models, point clouds and mesh grids.
Drone inspections, report and follow-up all in one place
In the real estate industry, the key is the report, a document that translates inspection observations into decisions and actions: from ordering repairs, to supervision, to billing for the work. SkySnap’s inspection module organizes this chain in a single environment.
The drone operator performs the raid and provides highly detailed material. Then, in SkySnap Portal, the material is analyzed together with an engineer or inspector, and the result is an inspection report ready to be passed on. Importantly, the process does not end with the generation of a PDF. The inspection results remain in the portal, so they can be revisited during the implementation of corrections, re-inspections, acceptances and verifications.
New opportunities for drone service providers and maintenance teams
“SkySnap can comprehensively handle the process from performing a raid for inspection purposes, to annotating and creating a final report, to supporting data analysis by building a digital twin,” says Pawel Wojcik, responsible for sales at SkySnap.
The module will not only benefit property managers and maintenance teams. It also enhances the offering for drone companies that can sell inspection reports as a product, for example for roofs, balconies and facades, as well as thermal imaging reports to support retrofits, heat loss identification and leak and leak detection.
“We are becoming one of the first Polish platforms to respond to the growing demand for inspection services not only in real estate, but also in the construction and maintenance of critical infrastructure. Our technology, SaaS model and network of our own and partner drone operators open up the potential for growth in foreign markets as well,” stresses Tomasz Odrobinski, responsible for the company’s development in international markets.
SkySnap points out that the combination of Polish technology, AI and drones translates into better-maintained buildings, lower operating costs and easier implementation of modernization measures, including energy efficiency improvements.
Integrated data processing service and more accessible digital twin
With the release of its inspection module, SkySnap is rolling out an integrated data processing service. Users can process data from drone raids into digital twin elements, including 3D models, point clouds and mesh grids, in a workflow more integrated with the platform. The goal is to lower the barrier to entry and costs to make the digitization of real estate, construction and critical infrastructure accessible to an increasingly broader market.
About SkySnap
SkySnap is a fast-growing Polish technology company specializing in infrastructure monitoring and inspection using drones and advanced digital technologies. On the one hand, like a service provider, SkySnap helps companies make decisions by providing accurate information from spatial data, and on the other hand, Skysnap builds artificial intelligence-based tools for automated measurement and analysis of critical infrastructure using data from drones or other image sources.
